Thoughts and prayers to the folks in MS, LA, and TX. I hope they are not hit as hard this time as with Katrina.

I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them. John Wayne-The Shootist

Ditto. It looks like NO has missed the worst of it. That would have been devastating. God bless all.

Rod, too.

Same here. My prayers are with all of the people that live there and are there working to help them.
I just sent two crews of Transmission Linemen, equipment and a couple machanics from Oklahoma to keep them all going to Lafeyette and they will be working a radius around that area restoring power.
Good luck all.

Mike

I live in Kenner right outside of new orleans and I have too say the linemen crews did and awsome job on how fast they had things back up in the time they had. We got home that thurs. and power came on at 9 pm. I use to do elec. and know what it takes great joib guy and thanks a mill.
Now we are dealing with ike and it's bad thousands of people are getting flooded out and leavees are over flowing and breaking in the lower states. I live on the southwest side of lake pont. and it's very windy 25-40 till sunday. Last week we left and went to columbus TN. and I think my wife we have to go back home, I think she thought I was gona stay It was very nice in the area.
I only had wind damage thank god but the Ins. don't cover wind damage down here they know just what to do to hurt us down here.
Anyway I know some say why live their or just move we'll it's home and I would maybe move but it's not that easy. They have use stuck down here that no one can get ins. really and I'm not going to give my house away, it's worth about 70 thou less sence katrina, but I do value my life and family and we do talk about moveing more and more.Any way that's for the prayers and keep don't for get about us like some did.
