I got dies with this new 30BR XP they are RCBS and include a Neck Size die. The FL size die is a little scrached up so I thought I would check Midway and see how much one was. $92 just for the size die. If you took the set I have it would be right at $250 for the set. I think I will clean this one up. For that much I could add $150 and rebarrel to 308. I have those dies.

Slavage is probably right. Call them up. They have sent me a new 30-06 die because they said it was scratched after removing the stuck casing I had in there. AND they sent me new stems for my 6mm PPC die after I just told them I bent it. You don’t have anything to loose by calling them.

The new 30 BR went to the doctor on Friday. It is getting a new center grip stock with a rosewood gripcap and forend and a new extended bolt release new matte blue job safety put back on and a new Leupold base and rings I expect it back in about 2 months. I am thinking Bill will be able to put new life back in the old girl.

Don't forget that CH-4D will make custom die sets for alot less than the big manufacturers. I looked up the 30 BR on thier site. The set is $78.25. That's less for the set than RCBS wants for the size die. I have a custom set of dies from them and they work great. The list of dies they can make is huge. They will also make a custom set of dies from a drawing, so your own wildcat is possible too and it will not break you. Here is a link to the CH-4D site;
