I went into one of the semi-local K-Marts the other day and while checking out the ammo at the counter, I saw they had Rem 30-06 150gr Core-lok ammo on clearance for $3 A BOX! . I asked the cashier to do a price check to confirm this and then bought all 9 boxes they had. Went to some other stores in the area looking for more with no luck, but it may be worth your while to check your store out.

I wonder when/if a box of factory 30-06 could be had for $3/box. If ever, it was a long time ago for sure.

Shoot, Shane, the nearest K store to me is 80 miles away or I'd go check ;-)

Just couldn't resist 180 rounds of 30-06 for $27!!
