We went to Wal-nart last night to pick up tags and I asked Mrs. Rupe if she really was going to try to shoot a Deer. She said "YES" She has never hunted before and I figured she would backout of it at the last minute and not want to spend the cash to get her a tag that she knew she wouldn't use. Well what a surprize. She said she is sure going to try. So I am very proud of her and excited for her as well. I just wanted to brag about Mrs. Rupe for a second.

Cool Rupe, now you have a hunting partner.

Is she going to field dress the deer to? My wife will shoot them and do all the cutting and wraping, BUT I have to take it from the field to quartered. Not a bad deal.

Congratulations Rupe, it couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Wish the both of you much success in all aspects of your life including her pursuit of a deer. True joy of hunting is watching a loved one get their first deer.

Your right rupe my wife does the same thing she say's she will until the zero hour of getting tags. Thats ok though she does a good job of cooking what I bring home.

Good luck Rupe, hope she doesn't choke up when the time comes. Don't be hard on her if she does though. I give her credit for trying.

I think Mrs Rupe needs to talk to my wife and convince her that hunting with her husband is a good thing.

Good luck to you both. Can't get a better hunting partner IMO.

I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a handgun today.
