I just placed my order for a T/C custom shop .350 Rem Mag in a 15" barrel with a 1:14 twist. It should ship in 4 months or so!! By the way it does come with the muzzle tamer. I am eager to use this for whitetails. Anyone use this cartridge in a handgun? Thoughts?

My buddy uses it in a Mod 7. It's a real thumper. Hope you have Decelerators on it. And hearing protection!

I used it for years in a 6 lb. (scoped) Custom Shop Rem. Mdl. 7, and took my first bear with it. 6 lbs.= ZOWIE!!!

I had not thought about the .350 Rem Mag. The 35 Whelen has interested me for a while, but the .350 Rem Mag might be a better choice in a short barrel. Let us know how it performs.

My brother has a Model 7 in 350 Rem Mag and he loves it. Here is the Model 7 and my 480 SRH on a bed of moss somewhere out in the middle of nowhere close to Old Forge NY on a bear hunt.

I have one of the last Remington Custom Shop repeaters in .350 Remington Magnum. It is superbly accurate, some loads are a bit brutal to shoot (they don't bother me), and a fun gun to shoot. Your Encore would make a great hunter!
