My friend, Wyote, and I had alot of fun over the last few days filling some antlerless tags with pistols in WY. Saturday I got this young'n with an Encore in 7-08 at 186 yds. I have to admit, I did miss with my first shot, but dropped it with the 2nd, a double lunger.  Wyote managed to take a really nice annie doe with a Contender in 7-30 Waters.  We also were able to get onto a few cottontails with a Ruger.

Just curious, about your rabbit gun...Is that a pac-lite upper on a Ruger MK?
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

It's actually Wyote's Ruger, but it does have a Tac. Sol. barrel on it. Maybe he can elaborate more.

wyote, the last few day's I have been looking at those barrels on the net and was just curious how they shot and handled. The 8.5 incher struck a chord with me. Looked like it might make a good squirrel gun, if they were accurate.

Looks like you guys helped out the "overpopulation" of Deer, pronghorns and Rabbits. Congrats to you both. That should also make for some fine eating.

Very nice! I still have 3 wks til I can take out the 44. Can't wait. Muzzleloader opens next weekend. Still can't wait.
