OP BobRos journeyman Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 69 Muskegon,Mi	I recently purchased an Encore barrel in 460 S&W. I wanted it in 12 inch but the barrel only came in 15. What are the thoughts on cutting it down?

H2OBUG Pooh-Bah Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 2,434 Louisiana	JMHO I would stick with the 15" you will only remove 3" and it is a 45 Cal so you are not removing that much steel. Futhermore with the 460 you may loose a bit vel. If it is not scoped you lose sight radius too. If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.
