What kind of velocity gains can be expected for a 10" Encore vs. 7.5" revolver? I am specifically thinking about .44 mag and 454.

I can’t do Encore… but…

Hornady book SBH 7.5
240XTP
24.8 grains of H110 @ 1400 fps
21.2 grains of 2400 @ 1350 fps

Lyman book Contender
245 (gas checked)
14 in barrel =1605 with 22.2 grains of 2400
10 in barrel =1529 with 22.2 grains of 2400
