For iron sight hunters IMO it's the only way to go.I am shooting and grouping at 100 yards what I use to do at 25-50.I have shot over 500+ rounds since installing mine and shot a doe at 70 yards in the neck. For me it's the cat's meow!I average 3-4" groups @100 and when I do my part I have seen some 2" 6shot groups.I have them installed on a Redhawk,if you were wondering.

I like the crosshairs, I do like the hole sights though. I have a 357 that I may try them on.

Ditto, I have used them on all of my Rugers, the 45 Bisley held very tight groups at 100 yards, never got to use it for hunting..Everyone that shot my revolvers really liked them..don't hesitate to use and the folks there are the nicest around..SSG Retired

I think I'm going to have to get me one of them for my Ruger SBH Hunter. I don't want to scope this pistol at this time. Would like to keep one unscoped for rainy days.......

I do not think you will regret it, very handy plus you still can put the SBH in a holster...SSG Retired

I've recently put them on my SBH 4 5/8 .44mag, and love them. I have a lot more confidence in the hole than I do with a notch sight. I have only put about 2 boxes of shells through it so far, so the groups are not yet what I can accept but that problem is me, not the gun. About 4 inches at 25 yards with the larger of the two apertures. It will get better, I know.

If it were supposed to be easy, they'd have sent my little sister to do it.
