First one was a NIB Colt Series 70 Nickel 250.00 in 79, one of the biggest mistakes I ever made was selling that one.
First kill was a boar with a Dan Wesson 41VH8, 210gr Nosler

First handgun was a Ruger NMSBH .44 with a 7 1/2 inch bbl. My family had moved to Alaska when I was right out of highschool. Got it off a table at a gunshow for about $300.00. Over 20 years later, things have not changed all that much. I still carry a NMSBH .44, and I can still get them used sometimes at a gun show for a little over $300.00.

If it were supposed to be easy, they'd have sent my little sister to do it.

First handgun - Ruger Redhawk 7.5 with 2X Leupold...first handgun kills were countless squirrels and rabbits with my Grandfather's Colt Woodsman.

Big game came with the Ruger - whitetail doe; still in action, nearly 20 years later...

First was a ruger gp100, never shot anything with it though. Next hunting handgun was a taurus 44mag. Shot my first handgun deer and many others with that one.

First handgun was a Heritage rough rider 22 convertible, followed closely by a Contender and a barrel addiction.

I cannot remember the name of it but it was a single action .22
Many tree chickens fell, until the frame broke by the grip. When I was young I also had a crosman co2 pistol which bagged many chipmucks.

In the early `70s I was reading a lot of Jeff Cooper so my first
was a Colt Government Series 70 in 45ACP. My second handgun was a Colt Python in 357 that was used to take my first deer.

Buck Mark 22 with at 7.25 inch barrel.
Nice action very sweet, bought it about 2 months ago.
Been shooting rifles my hole life, but I got hooked to handguns right away. Then I went and bought a S&W 500 hunter. Sweet.
