Kyode, I just figured out the sum you'd be required to pay for your 'NEXT' barrel. Even you got them at 1/2 price, on sale, you'd have to pay about $3,295.10!!! Fortunately for me, I don't suffer the same ills you have! I have my next barrel already figured out. It is a 204, 260, Rem, 6.5x284, 280 Rem, .500 S&W, 458 WinMag, or what ever!!! I already have way too many to choose from, that's why I need another. Anybody else out there buy a barrel, set it up, kill something with it, and then sit it on a shelf? I have a whole shelf full myself!!

Guilty of all the above abuses,,neglecting barrels is secondary to the neglect of my rifles lately though.
I guess I do fit in here after all

You know if I ever get as bad as you guys I'll quit. I only have two barrels half way broken in and one sitting in a box. Slim

Ya know, I forgot to mention that I have quite a few handguns and rifles that help protect my safe too. There used to be a saying that sort of went "a man that only owns one gun....." somewhere long about 30yrs ago when I was 21, I forgot that saying....and never looked back. KYODE, when I die, my wife is left with a nightmare, and someone else is going to have a great time...I can only hope I shoot all the barrels and throats out first!! Gerry.
