99.9% if I carry it is for pig protection and it is usually my 4 5/8 SBH in 44Mag.

I carry what I shoot which is a single action and I've used several different ones but the one that goes with me the most anymore is my 45 Vaquero, I do have a 1911 that I'll take if I have to go Portland and I carry two extra mags.

LOL I feel horribley inadequate. I carry a Kel-Tec 380 in a pocket holster. When I can find a fare priced S&W M&P J frame 357 maybe I'll switch to that. It's the one of maybe 4 S&W's I ever actually wanted. Once in a while I'll carry my Security Six in a Milt Sparks holster & matching pouch holding a Speed Strip. Nastalgia mostly. I've also carried 1911's, Sigs, Glocks, H&K, & a Browning Hi-Power. All great but a full size sidearm doesn't always work. In all cases they're accompanied by a Bench Made automatic.

my taurus pt99,9mm is my truck gun..(only paid $200.00 for it from my girl friends dad)my taurus pt145,45acp loaded with 185gr. silver tip hollow points is my "go to town and get grub gun". last but not least is my g20,10mm loaded with double tap,200gr. xtp's....i alternate between the 45 and the 10 for carry...the 9mm is to heavy in my opinion so its the truck gun!
in the future i plan on a g29 which is a smaller 10mm glock, that will replace the pt145...

I've decided that my next handgun purchase will be a Glock Mod 20 in 10mm, as I am going to dedicate my S&W 629 with a scope for handgun hunting with.

Lamina check your PM. If I was to carry dedicated all the time w/a full size. It would be a Cammander length 1911 w/alloy frame (single stack) to save weight in 45 ACP. Everthing else is a wanna be!

Kimber Custom Combat, Walther P99, Beretta M92FS. I like the P99 for it's lightness and German LE 17rd mags, but I always etake the Kimber when I need heavy duty comfort! It is one of the first originals, hand assembled by Chip McCormick himself a long time ago.

I never leave the house without being armed. Here in my small town, which is located right on I-80, we have a big problem with herion. Both users and of course the cretins that sell the poison. My every day carry guns are a glock 31 or the sub compact 33. Both are great in my opinion.

I dont know much but I know that big bullets sure make me smile!!

My favorite CC gun is a Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry .45 with Crimson Trace Laser Grips, carried in either a Galco Royal Guard IWB RG218 or a Bianchi IWB Pistol Pocket, loaded with Magtech Guardian Gold 230 gr. JHP's. At the bedside is a Wilson KZ .45 with nine 230 gr. SXT Winchester Black Talons in the magazine and one down the throat, cocked and locked, of course.

Taurus 5 shot snubbie .44 Special with Speer 200 gr. GD hollow points is my most common off duty carry.
Colt Officers Model .45 auto with 6 Federal 185 gr. Hydra-shok less often.
Lately considering Ruger SP 101 in .357 Mag for lighter weight (I know, I know, - a cop actually WANTING to carry wheelguns. I'm a proud member of a dyin' breed!)

No laughing now!

Renster of N.H., I'm surely not laughing. I've carried a couple of SP101's in the past myself as backup when in the village as a LEO in bush Alaska. And while my main carry gun as a civilian now is a commander-sized Kimber, I find myself more and more going to town with a short barreled NMSBH .44mag riding high on my right hip under a down vest. I have had 1911's stovepipe and jam on me on the very rare occasion on the range, but I have NEVER had a revolver jam.

If it were supposed to be easy, they'd have sent my little sister to do it.

for some reason i think i would trust a revolver more than a semiauto.simpler mechanics and if it does misfire just go on to the next round.

One of my Kimber 1911s when I can carry full size with 230 gr Wichester XTP's. When I need to go small a baby Glock in .40, or Walther PPK/s same round at 180gr. In the pocket Ruger LCP at .380 with Corbon.
