Took her out to the range and sighted her in at 2.5 inches high at 100. I had about a 10-12mph Left to right wind blowing. At two hundered had around a two inch group, but at 300 my group opened up pretty good, but man at 300 that wind will get ya!! The ballistic calculator was on the money. 2.5" high at 100,200 was dead on, at 300 it was 11" low!!! I just did'nt compensate for wind while I shoot at paper!! The groups were about what I expected considering factory ammo and a little wind!!

One Hundred

Two hundred

At Three Hundred I was aiming 12" high from this bullseye. At 7 power that 300 yard target seems like a mile away!!! I'm to commfortable with my Kahles 3-12x52mm on my rifles!!

Nice! I'll bet with some handloading and load development The groups will shrink some.

Might want to try Benchmark and some 100gr Hornady SP's. They work well for me.

It's not the gun, but the man behind it.

I need to start reloading, I should of done it a very long time ago. The grip was made by Tony Gattel at Tonys grips and forearms!! It fits me perfect and he did the satin finish for me. I did'nt think the groups were not to bad considering I'm using factory barrel, ammo and trigger!! Like Hunleee said at 300 yards that 2-7 Burris sure could use a little more power, but I doubt I will ever need to shoot over 200, I just wanted to try a few groups at 300!! Merry x-mas and many thanks to the good people on the HH forum!!!

I think the 6.8 can be loaded to be supersonic out past 1000 yards it and the 6.5 I believe. It is a very nice round in my opinion.I have only read about it ,but it definately caught my attention. And you have some very nice groups pictured there.Proof in the pictures.

Now that makes sense. I was puzzled looking at your targets.
