OP boonyrat newbie Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 36	i have a g20 and am awaiting my 6" hunting barrel. i am ordering a scope mount from mako tactical and not really sure if i will use a scope or red dot yet. anyone use the 10mm succesfully to take deer with? if it ain't broke....give me a minute!

s4s4u Shootist Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 9,608 Northern MN	It's got a little more oomph than a 357 Magnum and a lot of deer have been killed by that. Keep 'em with 50 and you'll do fine. Rod, too. Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

He dropped one with one shot at 80 yards, it didn't go 5 yards, full penetration...It say that under 75 yards you won't have any problems. He was using a Glock. Bill in OR
