i have a g20 and am awaiting my 6" hunting barrel. i am ordering a scope mount from mako tactical and not really sure if i will use a scope or red dot yet.
anyone use the 10mm succesfully to take deer with?

I saw Nugent on tv killing a cape buffalo with one but I don't think I'd go down that road but deer within a reasonable range should do ok.

It's got a little more oomph than a 357 Magnum and a lot of deer have been killed by that. Keep 'em with 50 and you'll do fine.

Yup, I was hunting quail this year with friends. One guy had a doe tag. We crossed paths with a group of three. He dropped one with one shot at 80 yards, it didn't go 5 yards, full penetration...It say that under 75 yards you won't have any problems. He was using a Glock.
