How do you clean an encore? I always use bore guides. Is there some type of guide to use with these barrels?

I use the Possum Hollow bore guides. You can get them from Midway USA. Here is the chart to see what is needed for Contender & Encore;

You can also get them direct from Possum Hollow. I have a few wildcats in the encore. I called them up and Erik the owner said sure I can make that. I had it about a week. Here is the link to thier web site.
