Yesterday we had some hot humid weather, crappy for hunt'n so, my son was itching to play with his new toy (Ruger Charger). He couldn't decide what sighting device he wanted at first but, went with red dot for now. I had an old Tasco Accudot laying around so, I strapped it on. He also got 1100 rounds of ammo so, you can imagine. I shot it first to get it zeroed. I was impressed. At 25 yards it was shooting one hole 5 shot groups. He shot half of his ammo and the only problems we incountered were with the magazine. If it doesn't "break in" I'm sure Ruger will replace without any hesitation. This was not what he wanted for Christmas but, I thought it would suit him better than a double action revolver, which is what he wanted. Needless to say, there was no complaints. Now he's chomp'n at the bit to go squirrel hunting and from the way he was shooting it....well, I can taste 'em now....I have created another handgun hunter...I'll post some pics when I can....KRal

It's not the gun, but the man behind it.

You've got to be kidding me? What is their problem with the Charger?

That is a good gun for him Kral. He can learn alot of the basics before moving on to the big boys. He will have a blast with that for a long time to come!
