To those that have asked, my daughter Jackie is doing well after her surgery yesterday. She's still in ICU but so far-so good. She's not having any trouble moving her hands or feet and the Dr. said every thing went smoothly in the OR.

Gary, I too am praying for your daughter. Glad all has gone well so far. Makes favorite loads & caliber choices for moose or deer seem kind of unimportant doesn't it? As my two daughters & my baby boy wander thru my home office, I think sometimes my life kind of gets put in perspective for me.

Thanks everyone. She's home now and doing well - very sore but recovering nicely. I'll be home with her for the next 4 weeks while she recovers so I'll get the site updated some while I'm out.

That's good news Gary. Seems the recovery process seems to go better once the person is at home with loved ones.

Well you sure can't get any rest in the hospital. They wake you up every two hours for something.

Glad she's home, Gary. I know what u mean. My Mother has "healed" more in 2 days home from hip replacement than she did in 4 days in nursing home. Just something about being back home that starts the healing process.
Cheers,
Dave
