I forgot to mention this the other day but I'm sure most of you suspected it and those of you that get the e flyer from Natchez probably saw that they are raising ammo prices after the first of the year. It didn't say how much but the number I've heard alot is 30% across the board and of course this will affect components for us reloaders.
I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them. John Wayne-The Shootist

Yeah, I have been waiting for the things to start rolling. A friend of mine went to buy a box of 243 ammo from a local gun store and the guy told him $32 and it was raised because of the new Prezzy! The box of shells were $22 the last time he went in there.

I heard metals are down but I would think ammo is going to stay high for a very long time. I am even thinking ammo will never come down, Unless we stop buying and thats not going to happen. Call it supply and demand if you want, I call it as I see it and that is price gouging, IMO.

This is a bunch of crap. It will be like gas, they will manufacture a reason for a rise and then even when that reason is gone it will stay high for a very long time, perhaps forever. It's like UAW wages, once they have them they don't want to give them back, even if it means the demise of the industry.
Rod, too.

As bad as I hate to say this Rod you could have titled this post "Just the beginning"and I think it would have been appropriate.
