I use a Lee Perfect Powder measure and have always had good luck with it. It throws consistant charges with most powders, except SR4759. With H110 it throws fairly consistant charges but it leaks powder out of the body of the measure when I use it. I usually put a catch pan under it to catch the powder that gets leaked out. I have 2 of these and it happens with both of them. Any advice?

I have the same issue with mine. You can take it apart and clean it and it will improve for a while. But I just use my Lymann measure for the ball powders and the lee for the others. I throws 2400 very well and H4227 very well too. Those are other options close to H110.
If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

I have no experience with the Lee measure.
I have the Lyman #55 powder measure. When I first started using H110 in it the powder would leak out. Over time it must have filled the cylinder/bore area a little with residue as it quit leaking with use.

I've always used RCBS Uniflow II measurers and never had a problem with any propellant.

I have both the Lee and the RCBS and could live with either but since I do have both, I load ball in the RCBS and extruded in the LEE so as not to have the leakage.

Like H20bug said you can take it apart and clean it and you can also tighten the philips head screw that goes through the handle and holds everything together but it will hit a point where it's too tight to move, but the bottom line is you'll never stop it all together.

My Lee powder measurer does the same thing with H110 and Winchester 296.

I have seen to much inconsistancy, so I weigh each and every charge of powder.

I have the DPS II...use it for all my stick powder loads. All my ball powder gets thrown from the RCBS Uniflow II...it drops them dead on everytime.

I have the Lee setup but for hunting loads I also weigh each charge....the RCBS Uniflow sounds like the powder to use if you don`t want powder leakage....
