Lets see 'em in .41 mag, .44 mag, and .45 colt...also, which caliber in this platform do you prefer and why? I have a chance to buy a .44 mag or .45 colt NIB for a very low price. I have owned both calibers and it is really a toss up.

What barrel lenght are they? I have a 7.5" 44 in SS.

I have pined over a Redhawk in 41 for a long time.

Here is my SRH in 44Mag... You couldn’t go wrong with either!
Is the 45LC or a 454?

If you roll your own, the 45LC hands down. If not, the 44 will be easier to find heavy loads in.

Rod, too.

They are both 7 1/2" stainless Redhawks...so the .45 is truely a .45 colt. I reload everything and I am leaning hard towards the .45 colt right now.

Mine's a .44, but if I had it to do over, it'd be in .45colt. BTW, mine is also a 5 1/2" which I prefer for everyday wear.

Here is my 4" Redhawk along with a 10" Contender, both in .44 mag. I've been very impressed with the Redhawk. Its accurate out to 75 yards with 320 gr CP bullets over W296 and its light enough that I hardly notice it on my belt on long hikes.

Either one is a great choice! I was on the fence about whether to get my 4" in .44 mag or .45 Colt. It was a tough decision. Let us know how you like the Redhawk!
