Thanks, I enjoyed that while I ate my dinner.

I went rabbit hunting with my Dad when I was very young. He had a beagle named Susie. She was a great rabbit hound. Not too long after Dad passed Mom gave her to the game warden, one of Dad's good friends. He hunted for years with that dog.

Your clips are great, put my 410 barrel on the other day, haven't had time to shoot yet, maybe today
I have a friend that has dogs he said I could go with him
I am going to try with my contender
Have you patterned the 2 1/2" verses the 3" yet ?

no not yet,all i have right now are 3".probably enough to finish the hunting season so i havent really went looking for the 2 1/2s.i just put a different sight on it and i have to pattern it,but dam its only 7 degrees today.i think i may take 1 dog out the gameless lands for a short walk and see if we get one running but i know my dogs arent the best in this cold stuff.

7 degrees!
Better keep them dogs moving so they don't freeze to the ground
I think I would wait for a warm up to pattern the shells, at least above freezing
looks like what you are using is working

7degrees is warm i have not seen a positive number today.calling for-22 tonight.i think the weekend will be wamer though.hopeing to take my 410 after squirrel saturday or sunday.I prefer 410 for squirrel because the shot don't go too far unlike other guns such as a 22 i do not need to be shooting up in a tree and have the bullet land on someone 1 or 2 miles away.in the eastern states there is almost no where you can shoot up and garentee no one will be in that direction for miles.shot shells have a terminal range of a few hundred yards that much room can be found.

Genesis chapter 1 verse 26

When shooting a single shot their are no warning shots.
