I have one in 45/410, 45/70 but never shoot it. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about them. Are they safe to shoot and reliable enough to be used for bear protection?

Here is an old gunbroker ad with pictures of a thunderfive. This revolver was also used in a military movie called "Three Kings". Other than that I dont know much about it. They were cheap years ago and I bought this one for display. but if I cannot find a possible use for the gun it might be time to sell her. There are too many guns I would use that I dont own.

Me neither, even after seeing it.

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

The company is no longer in business either bad sales or because of pressure from the atf. The atf was real upset because they were unable to trace bullets from these guns because of how the barrel was built and also they complained about the rifling being basically straight and they felt it was a smooth bore. This is from an atf artical I found online.
