Just thought you guys in the southern areas might want to see what it looks like when I go to the range. It was 29 degrees at 4 pm today. I thought we were having a heat wave.

Going out to the 100 yard target the snow is knee deep. We finished up the rifle league around 7:30 tonight. The temp was down to 9 degrees.

i got out to the range today. there was a little nippy wind at 35 degrees. i froze my butt off!
shot a few rounds from the 14" 44mag, and about 100 rounds of different ammo's in the 14" 22lr match barrel.
shot a few good 5 round groups with the 22match barrel, but for the most part, it was tooooooo cold for me to shoot good.
good to get out and pop a few rounds though!

I can't wait to see 35 again. I think I'll break out the grill and have a barbeque when we get there. It was nice to break 20 today. Now we have another ice storm headed toward us today. Looks like we'll be chipping ourselves out again tomorrow.

Larry223, It's always good to smell burnt powder. Better days are coming, keep reloading!

Kyode, I know what your talking about, trying to shoot good groups with the gun shaking all over is tough!! 35 degrees down there is like our 0. Last week it was 9 when I was shooting the 44. I know the groups would have been better at 70 degrees.

Stush, you get the grill going and I'll bring the steaks.
