Well i put the freedom arms 555 field 50 AE in my hands and couldnt put it down. Man these things are nice im amazed at how tight these things lock up. either way it now resides in my safe. I need to work up some loads for it i got 3 boxes of loaded stuff with it and the dies, the loaded ammo wont last long. It does have a little snap to it when it goes off it bites the middle of my palm. It is still pleasent to shoot i will attach a couple of pics. i dont know why but when i post pics on here they are blurry Ron

You are more likely to have that feeling with the pacs than with solid grips. recoil makes it feel like the grip is trying to seperate your hand where the back of the grip is in your hand. I think as the rubber in the grip is giving way/moving it causes this feeling in your hand.

A nice mild but effective deer/ hog hunting load that will not back bullets out of the tapered case is: 325 Speer JHP, 21 gr. 2400, and CCI 350 primers for 1110 fps from my 6" .50AE. The mag. primers are essential for this velocity. Factory ammo typically runs about 1300-1400 fps depending upon barrel length. Speer found it necessary to use a bullet adhesive to prevent bullet creep in revolvers. My load doesn't need any.

Congratulations on the FA! I have one high on my list but, have yet been able to find one in a gun shop to put my hands on it. I no I'll like it but, I just don't like buying anything without puting my hands on it first.
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.
