Thank you I will not make this mistake again you may rest assured
But I hope you will be fair if anyone else post something that has nothing to do with "hunting, shooting, or gun news & politics," you will remove it too.

Again thank you

This post, while very nice, had nothing to do with hunting, shooting, or gun news & politics, so I've taken it down. No offense to MePlat

I always do my best to be fair to everyone. I don't see everything that gets posted so sometimes things go on for longer than they should, especially if no one brings it to my attention. Moving or removing posts is always a judgement call and I debated just moving it to the shooters bench but it didn't fit there either.

If members want an Off Topic forum I'll certainly create one, it just needs some support. So if anyone reading this thinks we should have another forum for discussing OT things then be heard and make a post here or send me a PM.

GARY: That is alright. I understand. I think knowledge is a good thing and I learned that religion doesn't have a place in shooting just like it is now not allowed in schools, courthouses and many places to numerous to mention.
It just though some would like to see a video of a quartet that had a bass singer that was legendary in his field with his quartet singing an uplifting song in trying times like these. I know I sure do; and get on YouTube regulary to see such things as it uplifts my spirit and makes my day brighter.
It just hurts to see the shooting world now pulling the same thing as the antis are pulling whining about anything to do with God and his road map for living the Bible.
I just thought most shooters talk or think about something, hopefully, other than shooting all the time.

Like I said I won't post anything else unless it has to do with shooting and it's related topics

MePlat, I was one of the lucky ones to see your post before it was taken down. I replied to it "Thank you!" It very much made my day and I am glad that you tried to share it with us.

I did not copy the URL though, could you please send the link to me via PM or my e-mail? So that I can pass it on to other friends and loved ones. Thank you.

There are alot of nice and personable folks on this board that have alot to share in many different subjects. Maybe an O.T. can be a good thing.

Don't confuse shooting with hunting.
Shooting is a game, hunting is a sport.

If we (gun owners) were afforded the same consideration in organized religious circles things might be different. I was raised Methodist and the United Methodist Church has been a contributor to the anti-gun movement for years. Next time you're at church try having the preacher give a sermon on the merits of handgun hunting and see how far you get.

I go to a baptist church and the preacher is pro gun. also as are several others including women too.
many pack on a regular basis. Including knives.
We don't give into anti hunters irregardless of the excuses.

an ot forum might be a good place to talk about other things. I don't know how busy it would be but it might be interesting.

I like this idea. Maybe share a good joke now and again.

I've already created an OT forum and moved MePlat's post there...

X2! This site just keeps getting better! Its almost to the point that I don't need to hit any others sites. Add a traditional archery and a traditional muzzleloading forum and I'm all set!
