I justed ordered one of these for my .41mag with scope. I was wondering if any of you out there have experience with this particular holster. If so, let me know. It seems like a great setup for use with a backpack. My hip and shoulder rigs are just a pain in the butt, when using a backpack.

I was looking at one at my local sporting goods store today and I was kind of curious about them too. I don't remember if it's the same brand but it looked identical except for it had 6 shell loops.

I was considering one, but thought it might get in the way with my binoculars. Let us know how you like it.

Will it fit? Aren't those made to carry the snubby big bores like the SRH Alaskan and 4" Redhawks and Smiths? Let us know how it works.
Rod, too.

I called the Company, and "Dan" the owner makes each one individually to fit any firearm, scoped or not, cartridge loops or speedloader pockets. I ordered a model to fit: a 4" revolver with scope, and cartridge loops. I sent him a pic of my rig and he said, no problem. He's sending it out next week, I'll post a pic of me wearing it and do a mini review for everyone, when it arrives.

I'd like to see a picture with someone wearing it. It looks pretty nice.

Rob Leahy (Simply Rugged Holsters of Alaska) makes this holster in leather, and also makes a harness to convert an existing holster. See it at simplyrugged.com
