I was told it was a semi that hit him. Probably needed to be washed.

I would hate to stumble into a bear like that while walking to the tree stand in the dark. To bad it got hit on the road and not got by a hunter.

They are still protected in the lower 48. Hiking late in the evening definitly becomes more interesting when you come across a half gallon size pile of grizzly droppings!

I got those pictures a while ago in an e-mail, sure makes a nice load for that one ton truck.
