took the new superblackhawkhunter out yesterday to try with the new burris scope and some new reloads that i worked up with 310gr cast bullets and a heatlhy charge of h110. when i got it dealed in it would put 3 bullets touching at 25 yards. now i need to see what happens out to 100 yards hope they still perform at the distance.

If they're touching @ 25, you are near an inch @ 100 if you do your part. Sounds like you got a good load there.

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

ahandgunhunter, I also have a Bisley Hunter that loves heavy cast bullets. I've loaded some Montana Bullet Works 300gr WFNGC's and max charge of H110 that were cutting same hole at 50 yards... I was quite impressed being the gun is stock, straight out of the box. Those hunters are some shooters.

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

I had a Ruger Super Blackhawk in S.S. with a Leupold 2x scope. It shot very well with any factory load. That was one handgun I wish I never got rid of. It sounds like you have a good shooting iron. I hope it performs like you want it to. Good luck.
