Does anyone know if there are any speedloaders which will fit a Ruger Super Redhawk .45/.454 ? I know the idea of rapidly reloading a .454 may sound crazy. (One well sighted shot is the norm.) But somehow things don't seem complete without one.

you might try midway, they seem to have the largest selection of that type of stuff.

I used the HKS model for the 25 S&W when I had one. Worked well.

The HKS 25M (with jiggle)is the proper size, as MS Hitman suggests.

I have two HKS speed loaders for the SRH in the Casull. Midway has them. They product description says that they fit the raging bull in LC, however they also work for the SRH.

By "spredhawk" do you mean "Super Redhawk" or "Spreadhawk"? My last .454 SRH pretty much spread its projectiles all over the place. I'm just wondering if you had a similar experience with yours.

No the recoil was to abrupt to tell if it was me or the gun.
It was a super redhawk 454. Nice gun but painful to shoot more than 20 rds a sitting.
I sold it and am looking to get a bisley in 44 mag or 45 LC
Im thinking of the 45 LC as Im getting tired of the magnums.

I loved everything about that gun except its accuracy. Either the timing was off or something was machined improperly. The primers were getting hit off center and the left side of the forcing cone was untouched meaning the bullets were leaving the cylinder and smashing into the right side of the forcing cone. I sent the gun back to ruger and all they could tell me was that they were unable to send it back to me. After several bad experiences with the company (including mine with the SRH), my dad (he has been buying rugers for himself and for his three sons (myself included) for over three decades) , decided to write them an e-mail. I think I will put up a new topic soon regarding what came from this because it is pretty unbelievable what happened.

Sorry to hear that. Its surprising because Ruger has always stood behind their products.
But like most companies (Walmart, Ruger) when the matriarch dies (Sam , Bill) things change.
I just bought a ruger SR9 9MM auto and have no issues..yet.
Going after a 45 LC Bilsley next, for the Ohio deer season.
I hope I get a good one.
