I just wanted to let you guys know that my dad will be
having open heart surgery this Wednesday morning
(September 29). He is currently in Louisville, KY at
the Jewish Hospital. He had a heart-cath today and
has 3 blockages. We will be keeping in touch with my
brother and his number is 850-453-1062.

My mom and our family thank you for your prayers.

Consider it done. After all Harry has been through lately he really didn't need this.

Absolutely. They'll have him up walking by Thursday more than likely. I know because there were a couple guys with the same deal in the ICU when my daughter had her surgery and they had them up and going the next day. Please tell GMAN we're thinking of him.

Back in April when the same thing happened to my brother the guys(I'm sure Gman was one) all sent well wishes out to him. Now the shoe is on the other foot and he will be in my thoughts and prayers as he goes through this.

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that my dad made it through his open-heart surgery today. He had four by-passes and will hopefully move to a room tomorrow. It was a little rough going at the start, but ended up all good.

We'll keep you posted.

Thanks for your prayers and thoughts.

I've been out of touch for a few weeks with computer viruses, so I'll have to pray for a speedy recovery. Kyode, next time you talk to Harry or his family, please pass on my best wishes to him.

UPDATE!

here's a mail i got today on harry....our buddy

***********************************************************

just spoke with my mom and the heart surgeon came in and said that he thinks my dad is okay to leave and go onto rehab. He needs to see his other doctors and if they think the same, he won't be there much longer. He'll then be in rehab for a week or so and the doctor said he then could come home!!! He's very excited about that.
