I have been using Lee dies since I began to handload. It`s not like I was told to buy them because I learned everything by myself and Lee was the first brand I picked up.Through the years I`ve learned to appreciate their quality and good ideas like their powder-through-expander die that allows me to drop my charge in the shell after expansion rather then another step. When I began to handload for the 454 and I experienced bullet jump on my first 5 rounds, it was their factory crimp that made an exact copy of the crimp that was on the FA`s factory ammo and never again did I have a reloaded bullet jump its case.I`am sure that if I had purchased another quality brand of dies instead of Lee I would be writting the same thing about them but Lee is what I bought and Lee is what I`ve stuck with. Just my thoughts....thanks for listening.

They are a #1 Choice for me but the dies have been hard to come by here of late.

The lady a Lee told me they had a record year in 08 and that they had sold more equipment in the first 3 months of 09 than all of 08

I wonder what caused the HUGE Spike in Sales??????? I wonder

If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

That's all the dies I own are Lee dies. They are inexpensive and their quality is second to none.

I have a good many Lee dies and have had good luck with them. I really like the Auto Prime 2 from Lee. The press does not wear your thumb out and you can feel the primer "bottom" out with a very easy touch on the press handle.

i've used 3 er 4 sets of lee dies and they do work. 10 times out of 10, i'd choose redding first and rcbs a close second.
i do not like the lee seater die that well, nor the "o ring" locking nut.

I agree, Lee makes great products. The majority of the reloading tools I own are from Lee. I really like their hand press. I use it for most of my reloading now.

All I use are redding dies. I once bought a cheap set of lee dies (I can't remember why at the moment) and couldn't believe how horrible they were. Like everything else I buy these days, they must have just been defective from the factory.

I have used many LEE-die sets over 20 years. I have some RCBS-sets too. No difference between using them.
I like LEE De Luxe-sets, because there are Collect neck sitzer dies too.
I hope, you can to understand my language.

I just got into reloading and bought a set of carbite lee dies for the 44mag. I really like the fact that you don't have to lube the cases before sizing. I have reloaded about 100 rounds and shot about half of them and they seem to shoot better than factory loads.
