I have seen a number of 45LC with 45ACP cylinders and I just can’t stand it any longer. How well do the 45 ACP’s shoot out of those rigs? I have way too much 45acp brass than I will ever shoot in my H&K and I have been thinking too much. I am not looking for one ragged hole at 25 yards, but will it hit a coke can constantly?

They don't shoot as well as what the gun was really designed for but accuracy is acceptable if you find the right load. A coke can at 25 yards every time might be a little ambitious but it's still cheaper to shoot than the other stuff.

I had one in 357/9mm some time back and it was like Gary said. One nice thing tho is that you don't have to chase brass.

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

Thanks for the help and that answers my questions. I don’t like reloading for autos, and consequently, just don’t shoot them much. If I can get the 45ACP to shoot as good as my 44 SP’s I would be ecstatic. I just need to save up for one now. LOL
