For you people who take marriage seriously, I just wanted to share a very good way of making a ten-year anniversary dinner (which for me and my wife happened to be yesterday, June 6 - also the Swedish National Day, i.e. our July 4th). Take the tenderloins of a handgunned deer, in my case this doe which I killed last year in PA:
Then follow Gary's excellent recipe "Amy's Venison Teryaki"
http://www.handgunhunt.com/promo/membership/features/searchRecipeDb.php?oid=1and grill it on your choice of Weber (I got a monster Weber grill from my mother-in-law some weeks ago). Let a good, fullbodied red wine - in my case a 2003 Rioja, from Spain - accompany the venison. The results were fantastic. The wife said that the venison "was probably among the very best dishes she'd ever had for dinner", which after all is a decent grade...
I had a similar dish at Gary's former place in VA last September. Thanks Gary and thanks to all other handgunners here who continue to inspire!
