At the Linebaugh Seminar a question was asked,If things got bad,and you had to take your family and go,what three guns would you take?Since hearing that conversation it has been on my mind alot. Here are mine RBH 45colt,4 5/8 bl and 255kieth over 24gr of H110,.308Howa w/bull barrel with 175grVLD over 43gr of BL-C2, Ruger 10-22 with CCI stingers. And the reason for all is the same, they are accurate.I hope that time never comes but I am interested to see what others thoughts for simple armament in bad times is.Which three would you put all your trust into?

I suppose my 45LC Bisley, 870 12 gauge, and my .270 rifle. I am not as confident out past 300 with a SP as I am with my trusty Mauser custom.
Rod, too.
Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

S&W 625 45 colt Ruger MKII 6" Std Rem 870 12Ga
If I had a 4th it would be my Encore 356 WIN Rifle
Or I could take a MK19 40MM GMG with about 2000 rounds and take over any city block I wanted.
I have one at work--- now that is a bad boy for the size and fire power!!! I would love to take one prarie dog hunting!!!!
If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

45/454 Vaquero, Rossi 92 45 colt, 1858 Remington. The first two because they both shoot the 45 and the last because as long as you have caps your not out of business. I have been reading about making black powder lately and although time consuming it's not impossible and you can always find lead to melt down and make your own round balls. If I had a fourth it would be my Hawken for the same reason.
I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them. John Wayne-The Shootist

H & K USP 45 AR 15 Remington 870 with buckshot, slugs and #4
a fourth choice would be a 308 or 30.06 scoped rifle
Don't confuse shooting with hunting. Shooting is a game, hunting is a sport.

Benelli 12 gauge semi with short barrel and extended tube AR-10 type chambered in 260 Rem (if ammo wasn't an issue-if so, 308) (multi-sight arrangement), modular in nature. Robinson Arms XCR 5.56, also modular in design (multi-sight options with other goodies).
