Went out this afternoon seen 6 groundhogs but didn't have my best day shooting. I only took 3 of then #12 at 146 yards #13 at 110 yards and #14 at 100 yards. I missed # 13 once but got him on the second shot, missed another twice, missed another one once and no shot at the last one. At least they will be there later I hope. I did buy a bipod and this was my first time useing it I'm not useing this for a excuse because I missed the one off the sandbag. I like the bipod and will be useing it at some other farms. the farm I've been hunting lately has gravel roads between the fields you can seat up in one place and watch two fields at once.

Cool, whack'em and stack'em.

We are tied at 14, guess I had better get out there and smack a few more. It rained all day here.

Just a thought, shoot the gun at paper with the bi-pod and see if POI changes from off the bags. I'll bet it did even if a little as the weight of the bi-pod changes the recoil action thus effecting the POI. I recheck site in when going to bi-pods.

x2 on the POI thing I have had mine change as much as 1" @ 100yds taking the bipod on and off

If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

Tig,H2O I'll have to do that I picked up the bipod on the way home yesterday night. The first one I shot at 146 yards was right were I was aiming. The second one I think I just rushed the shot but hit him in the head on the second shot. the third I killed on the first shot. The one I missed twice was over a hill down in a bottom I think I shot over it both times. The one I missed once and didn't get I just flat out missed him he wouldn't stand up tried to hit it while it was feeding. I will check zero with the bipod want to go out on Sat. but I have a sportingclays tournamant to shoot and they are calling for a high of 96 deg here Sat if not to tired I'll go out in the afternoon when I get back.

The one on the right asked for a little off the top, but got a whack job instead. LOL.
Nice hunting. How do the Pachmayrs like the bi-pod?

It likes them I guess, I know I like them I have small hands and never could get a good grip on the stock TC grip this was the best thing I could have done, they are real comfortable to shot with and there is no worry about the gun sliping in my hands during recoil
