After checking the mail today I found my 2009 WY Antelope buck tag waiting for me! I called to see if Tig got his also...his wife answered and said his had arrived but he's not home...he's g-hoggin'!
So...you all know before Tig...that he and I are fo'sho headed to WY in October to chase all manner of critters and have at least two 'lope tags in pocket!!

Well I guess the cats out of the bag before I got home.... LOL<LOL<LOL Yup, my tag was waiting for me when I got here tonight. I was out after charlies this afternoon when the mail came. I went 7 for 10 with blood and tissue drawn on #8, I'm sure he is dead but he fell in the hole and I could not retrive him.  From left to right, 133, 118, 122 yards. The one on the left was a chest hit in front of the leg with no exit, the other two were head shots with decent damage. All dead right there. I could have gotten another two before I came home but all I had was the ten rounds loaded. What a bummer, the charlie was in the scope and no more ammo! I need to sit down and do some reloading!!! LOL<LOL

On the bright side the antelope will not fall back into their hole. Shooting like that you will bring some good meat home. Job well done Tig.

The Encore is a 218 BEE loaded with 40gr Blitz King's. On the bright side the antelope will not fall back into their hole. That's true, no chance of loosing them, unless it's a really big hole!! LOL<LOL Now there is a thought, underground dwelling zombie antelope........ I think my meds are out of whack... LOL<LOL

Congratulations on the tags. What unit did you draw? I have done well around Laramie, Saratoga and Casper in the last few years.

How many do you have now I've got alot of catching up to do just got back from vacation haven't hunted in over a week maybe tomrrow we'll see my daughter want's to float the river tomrrow for her birthday it's her call. Calyzzz I have 26 confirmed kills with 31 shots, that's 84% shots on. Average shot distance is 95 yards. Of the 5 misses two drew blood but they made it in the hole.
