I haven’t seen Wapitrod on in a while and I will give him a call tonight. He has used the 260 Accubonds in two different 375 JDJ’s with very good luck. He said he has shot MOA’s out of both barrels. That bullet should also handle the game you have mentioned IMHO.

I use 44 grns of H322 with a 270 grn Hornady it ny JDJ Contender. You should verify any reloading data from the internet with a manual. I like this cartridge for reloading and the H322 has proven useful in other calibers as well.

I'm using a max book load of 48gr of H4895 for 2100fps with the 260gr Accubond and CCI 200 primers and like TC said it shoots MOA out of both barrels I've used it in and in my opinion and from my personal experience it is a much better constructed bullet for elk sized game and larger than the Hornady.

I've also had great performance from the 270 speer on game up to kudu.

I almost forgot in this last Sixgunner in JD's corner there was mention that he had been working with the Barnes 210 Triple Shock with promising results but I think on anything bigger than elk I would prefer the heavier bullet. Don't get me wrong on the Hornady's either, they've been knocking them down for a while with them but I think the Accubond is a cut above. I've never tried the speer that Gary is speaking of so I can't say on that one. Good Luck and I'm sure you'll be happy with Accubond.

I may have to also try a few rounds with the speer bullets also.
