Anybody get their draw results yet? I didn't draw for moose or sheep, but I drew a mule deer buck, a mule deer doe and cow elk license, all in the same unit.

I drew my mule deer tag but missed on sheep, goat, antelope, and anterless deer. I put in for what they call a point saver for elk, it gives me a preference point without putting in for an actual hunt because I wasn't sure how I'd be doing this year so I'll just hunt Roosevelts under a general tag here on the coast.

Well, I missed both the NH and ME moose tags. Too bad....I guess this will take some years.

You did pretty good pab1. Maybe you'll draw the moose and sheep tags next year. Nice you drew all in the same unit; you'll at least be pretty familiar with it.

I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a handgun today.

The only thing I drew with horns is a whitetail (either sex) tag!

Not all bad news tho.........I did draw 2 doe deer, 1 doe antelope, and a cow elk tag.

Ouch! Yall have a tough time! On Friday I am buying a Texas Resident Lifetime Hunting and Fishing License. It will set me back a Grand but then for the rest of my life they will just swipe my drivers license and print me out a hunting license. Here in Texas that's good for 5 whitetail(not more than 3 bucks), 4 turkey, 2 mule deer (1 buck), and all the wild boar a man can toss a bullet at, every year, for the rest of my life. And that"s not even getting into migratory birds or fishing. I would go stir crazy having to wait around to see if I could hunt based on a lottery system. That aside I am glad you all drew something and don't have to set this season out.
