I've gotten some interest lately for a SWPA B'n'B "Fall Tune up" Shoot.

Who wants'ta do it??

I'm thinking the 3rd Sunday in September would be about one month away...kinda tight for planning but...after that Tig'n'I will be in WY!!

The third Sunday in September will be the 20th. If everything goes right I will be coming home that day from our annual bear hunt in the Adirondacks. Never got a bear, but it's a good hike in the woods with my 2 brothers. This year they might be dragging me out if I go to far and can't get back. LOL<LOL

Can't make it to the shoot, but I did some tuning up last Thursday and will spend three days competing in the International Tactical Rifleman Championship this weekend. Didn't want you to think i am not practicing any

Here is a pic from practice last week. 4-Shots, prone, 622 yards (1.5 inch group). 140 Bergers, 2745 fps, 6.5-284 rear grip XP, Mcree stock.

Wow....now that is awesome!! My calcs put that right around .24 MOA. And some folks think that .25MOA at 100yds is impressive.....they have NO idea!!

To bad I can't duplicate that all the time.

I will take the great groups when the come though

Ernie, Its hard to find the right words to describe your shooting at 622yds except to say "damm your good".....

i have not been to one i would like to go it is i think
southwestern PA. bullets and bull S#*T i think.

Uummm.....yep! That's about it!

I belong to a club w/ a 500yd range, pretty much ALWAYS ave it to ourselves, shoot water filled jugs and steel plates from 200yds to 500yds, use spotters whhile one person shoots.....a great day and always learn a lot. Wifey brings lunch too!!

i thought that would be about right i know you guys have fun

Sounds like you guys have pretty darn good time to me.

It is on my calendar---even if I am the only person there with you!! I have to shoot my 375H&H, 375JDJ, 338-06 and Mr Rigby. I just got my 14" stainless 444 braked so that come too.

I can do the 27th!! I have to do the 27th!1 I have some work to do. Today I shot the 375 HnH at 300 and the best I could do was a 4" group with a box of Federal Factory 270 gr.!! All were dead center but 6" low. This one is serious Elk medicine! I think I may be taking it with me. I'll bring it out on the 27th too! It is either this one or the 338-06 cuz they are both shooting very well. BTW-The 4" group was shot with a 2x Leupold on an Orange Redfield target!!! I just got a leuie 2x8 from Bill (PaHandgunner) on a trade for my 416 Rigby Rifle barrel, but I don't want to change scopes now. An Elk through the 2X Leuie at 200 yards is plenty big enough for me and everyone knows teh 2X Leupold is bullet proof!
