Have any of you dealt with Marlin on warranty work? I have an issue with my 1895 and I was thinking on sending it to them if they are like Ruger and Smith and don't charge for the repairs otherwise I'll just buy the parts and do it myself.

I guess another question is have any of you that own or shoot Marlin lever guns ever had a problem with the lever coming open when it's fired? My used to just come unlatched but now it will grab my finger between the lever and the trigger which hurts like an sob. I get the feeling if my hand weren't in the loop it would slam the bolt all the way open.
Thanks for any input you have.

Mine in 45-70 shooting Grizzly 405 grain +P is tighter than a new brides' va-jay-jay. Kicks as hard too!

Don't confuse shooting with hunting.
Shooting is a game, hunting is a sport.
