Ya that one they showed on KTVB was kinda thin in the coat. Pretty though. He used whimpers and whines and he said it didn't take long. Shot her at 25 yards.

Larry, I didn't get one. On opening morning there were two killed in the northern part of the state. If I get one you'll surely know and there will be plenty of pics.

Thats the plan. My coyote hunting partner knows a guy that grades the roads up north with a snow cat. The plan is to go the next morning and see if we can cut a fresh track on a snowmobile, then see if we can howl one in. They are an alfa dog so it should work. We figure in november/december the coat will probably look better. Gonna be fun for sure!! Hoping for a black one on video @ bout 25 yards!!!

Rlb, You gonna actively hunt them or just carry a tag when your out? I'd be a good way to inaugurate your new 454!

I'll hunt them if the season stays open and yes it would be a great break in for it. I plan on trying to call them in. I think it would be quite a rush to have something that big at 10 or so yards.
