Got a new set of Pachmayr's for the Encore, the package states the forearm screws are two different lengths, but my two are the same length. Does anyone know if they made a change to the screws without changing the package, or if mine was miss packaged?
I e-mailed Pachmayr, but do not really expect a reply over the holiday weekend. It went together, but I would hate to break it because of the wrong screws.
Nice grips.

Mine were different lengths and I purchased mine less than a year ago, so I don't blame you for wanting to wait I would. Good shooting.

I got just what those zombie's need right here!

My nephew bought a set and got the wrong forend. He ended up breaking the forend screws in the barrel before he noticed it. The guy that sold it to him said it didn't matter, either forend would fit. It didn't!
I also have Pachmayrs on mine and both screws are the same length on the forend.

There are two different forearms for the Encore. The “mag” has two small identical screw and the “standard” has two different screws… if my memory serves me corectly. LOL

My screws are both the same size. I bought mine for the Encore in February 2009.

When my nephew got the correct forend I'm pretty sure Pachmayr said they were going to start making only one forend.

E-mail reply from Lyman " Pachmayr " that all forearms use the two short screws now. Thank you!
