If you see this pointed your direction......

....you may end up famous and have your pic posted on the internet like this.......

I'll keep it short and say that I'm four for four shooting this week. One shot even impressed Ernie and it's NOT the above victim. More details to follow later........

How far do you think that reddish hill is behind Dan's right shoulder?

I'd guess 600-700.

Congrats, Dan!!! Great handgunned trophy.

Nice going Dan! Guess all that shooting at the B-n-B's paid off!

And Ernie, I'd say that was much further than I am capable of shooting with any of my r*fles! Awesome shot - details...

I got this larger horned doe yesterday. The range was rather close, bedded at 236yds.

Here was the first head of game to fall on the 2009 Dan'n'Ernie antelope hunt.

He was also close at 200yds.

To answer the question...this was also not very long. She was dead-on 400yds but we had a 10mph full value wind.

Here is irrefutable proof that Dan can smile!
I will wait to let Dan spill the beans about the time spent here.

Hey Dan , congrats on a fantastic hunt, Ernie is definatley the GURU of long range shooting/hunting!! Your WSM is one heck of a RIG as well!! How did you like the nightforce? Did you have a chance to look thru his ART Leupold, I did a couple of weeks ago and It was nice ( sold the nightforces and ordered the ART's). Congrats again on a great hunt.

The Nightforce was awesome!! The $2400 price tag is a little rich for my blood so it had to come back off on Thursday when play time was over. But from Monday afternoon to Thursday afternoon the Lil'Monster/NXS combo accounted for five game animals with as many shots at ranges from running at 40yds to standing at 1037yds...two bucks, two does and one badger. Hard to beat that!!

And, YES I did look through the ART. It will take a little while until I get that cash accumulated. For now the Burris 3-12X32 will be remounted.
