Had a whack em and stackem weekend culling some does and I also got this hog. Of course I missed a whopper hog that would probably go 400lbs. I also converted a new handgun hunter who took two does this weekend and his first ever handgun kills.

Cool hunt! Nothing like wack'n n stack'n hunts.

How did you train a dead hog to hold his head up so well? I like that color, how common is it? Nice hunting Gary.

Good story as usual, nice hog! What caliber is that hogleg, and at what distance was the shot? It's a 454 Casull and the shot was from about 50 yards. We were hunting on a friends ranch. I have no idea how common this color is the big un that I missed was black.

That is a good one. They are alway fun to shoot - deer do not make the noise that pigs make when you hit them. That sound always brings a smile to my face.
Got to love those wheel guns on the big porkers

WTG,Gary. Spent the weekend trying to cull a few does, but didn't even see one. Glad you did.

Yes David, that gun is ported. It's not really necessary but that's how it was when I bought it. My 4 3/4 inch gun is non-ported.
