On my Encore frame, I stripped the threads where the buttstock screw attaches. Can this be fixed by me or do I need to return the frame to T/C? It looks like this is a threaded insert that can be removed but I didn't want to screw it up worse than I already have..........

On the old Contenders you would have to send it off, on the new G2’s and Encores I do beleave that end piece will come off with a wrench. You may have the option of paying for shipping to send it back to TC or just order a new bolt.

It is a little more obvious on the SS models… The bolt holds the hammer spring in.

Called T/C. That part, the "stock adapter", screws out with a wrench and a little force. They are dropping a new one in the mail to me at no charge. That is awesome customer service.

I got the same type of Customer Service when I broke my firing pin. Thompson Center Customer service just dropped one in the mail no charge.
