I have had a number of guns ported by MagNaPort. They do excellent work. I suggest you get the "Dual Traps" porting which is four trapezoidal ports in the top of the barrel (2 on each side). They also offer what Ken Kelly calls "Linebaugh Style Porting". This is the dual traps arrangement with a fifth port in the top of the barrel. I have the Linebaugh Style on my 45/70 BFR and the dual traps on my 480 Ruger, as well as a number of others. All are very effective. I have the rifle style on my 10" 358 JDJ, but do not care for this style on a handgun. I would have much preferred the Dual Traps. Good luck.
