Hello to all,
Came across a barrel in 7-30 JDJ caliber with dies, brass and load data. I cannot find much on this caliber and was curious if anyone had any experience with it.

Thanks

I would appreciate the load data, even though I just missed out on the purchase. I can find very little about it in general, much less any ballistics.

Thanks

SSK

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

A friend of mine bought a 7-30 Waters barrel and I talk him into having it reamed to 7-30 JDJ. Its a real tack driver and the brass last forever. He took a deer with it last year and was really impressed by the performence. The cheapest way to get one is to by a used 7-30 barrel and have SSK ream it. They also have loading data for it upon request.

I have load with w 760 and h 4350 with the barnes 120 ttsx that are giving me over 2500 fpa with 1"at 100. 45 grains with 4350 and 43 with 760. I think there is a bit of room to go up in my gun. I started with 40 grians of 760 and 42 grains of 4350 both were giving 2300 fps with the starting loads. I havenot tried any other bullets. Im here in the republic oc CA so stuck with the barnes.
