OP TexasThunder stranger Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 10	I am new to the new TC pistols, have an original contender, but have noticed big price diff between ProHunter action and G2 action. What is the diff.

s4s4u Shootist Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 9,608 Northern MN	The ProHunter is an Encore action, which is larger and stronger than the G2. Kinda like a big brother. Where the Contender is rated to around 42,000 PSI; the Encore goes 65,000 and beyond. Bigger bang for your buck ;-) Rod, too. Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.
