At 9PM on the History Channel there is a show called "Sniper: Inside the Crosshairs" about the science and psychologhy behind some of the longest military history. Being a growing LR buff, this really has my interest!
Just a heads up for anyone else that likes that stuff.

Did anyone watch the show about M16s after that? I DVR'ed the Sniper show and watched it later...it caught the first few minutes of the next show. It looked good so I found it was on later that night and DVR'ed it also. May watch it tonight.

i watched both shows and they were great i lived part of the
second i was in the army when the m-16 came out. we that other
names for them the first ones were sh--. the shows were good.

I watched the sniper one and caught the first part of the m16... I really liked how they interviewed the actual snipers that were making their shots..... its good to know we have those guys on our team!
Need more gun control? Try using two hands.

Both shows were so good I watched them when they rerun them immediately afterward. Yes I was up late that night. I know they chuck the 'just' accolades, but I wish they would've mention Carlos Hathcock pinning down an entire VC platoon with his Unertle scoped Browning M2 'Ma Deuce'. I have always been a fn or 'The White Feather'!!

I watched the sniper show that my buddy DVR'ed - amazing shots under pressure! Just finished reading one of Jack Coughlin's books earlier this fall (who was commenting throughout the feature on the sniper achievements) and reading a book entitled Trigger Men currently. Incredible shooting.
