I just got the new Shooting Times magazine and read the article about the new loaded .375JDJ ammo from T/C. I started having second thoughts about getting into reloading, until I saw that the price for a box of 20 rounds will be $42.50!!!!!!!!! Now I know I made the right decision by ordering a reloading kit. I have been buying the ammunition directly from SSK, but I am sick of paying the high prices. Does anyone plan on using the new ammunition?

My hand-loads will touch holes @ 100yds, so why bother with factory stuff. The 375JDJ is an easy cartridge to make. If you have no experience re-loading it'll still be easy. Brass is easily formed when using virgin brass.

I have plenty of formed brass and can't wait to get my press delivered. I'll be loading .375JDJ, 6.5JDJ and my new .357 Herrett ( thanks Rupe!), so everyone can expect to get a lot of questions in the coming weeks

OUCH!! 42.50 is a tad steep. I hope they will be selling properly headstamped brass, though. South Africa is getting a little funny about bringing in wildcat calibers. Any word of the release date yet?

The article says that they are available now and it is headstamped as a .375JDJ, so that should help anyone going to Africa.

I called TC yesterday and they referred me to Fox Ridge. Fox Ridge told me that the loaded ammo will not be out for some time. Sounds like TC is putting the horse before the cart AGAIN. I hope they have brass out by early Summer.
